Privacy

CMB Maps collects no data. There is no account, no tracking, no analytics and no advertising.

The app never uses the network: every map and every word is inside the app.

On your device

Motion data is read only on your device: to move between maps when you tilt the Card, and to turn the view when you use Look around. The readings are never stored and never leave your device.

Your settings and the view you last left are kept on this device only.

Sharing

If you share an image of the sky, it goes only where you choose in the system share sheet.

Crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. We use them only to fix bugs.
